Chico's most intelligent cigar club.

 Actually, it's more of a periodic gathering than a club. We meet monthly, share snacks and beverages, and fill our patios and backyards with smoke from some of the best cigars on the planet, along with some of the cheapest cigars on the planet. After all, there are some high quality bargains out there. We're not tobacco snobs; heck, we even get along well with pipe smokers!

Puffing along since 2005, CHUMPS is the acronym for Chico Herf Unleashing Massive Plumes of Smoke. (A 'herf" is a social gathering of cigar enthusiasts who meet to share their love of cigars.) You'll find information about upcoming and past meetings on this site, along with members' recommendations for cigar web sites, stores to frequent, and sticks to smoke.

Why do we say CHUMPS is Chico's most intelligent cigar club? Hubris, mainly. Members include university professors, business owners, modern cowboys, corporate shills, faceless bureaucrats, and the best of the proletariat. We have wide ranging interests and divergent political philosophies. We have, to say the least, some rather interesting conversations.
